Jeremiah Jermaine Paul is an American musician, Pastor, and community leader. Prior to winning season 2 of the NBC's The Voice, Jeremiah toured professionally and worked in the music industry for 17 years as a vocalist, songwriter/arranger, producer and was co-nominated two years in a row for the 48th and 49th Grammy Awards for Best R&B Performance by a Duo or Group with Vocals, in collaboration with Alicia Keys as a featured artist.
Jeremiah began his ministry in 2002 at First United Methodists Church in Newburgh NY under the late Pastor Sylvester Mc Clerean and the late Rev. Dr. Mathew Adams. He served as worship leader and Youth Minister for 3 years. He later joined his sister Pastor Wendy Paige in Harriman, NY as Lay leader and Music Minister. Continuing to serve his community in the Hudson Valley as a leader for social justice, Jeremiah was newly appointed board member to Access for Living which focuses on the disabled and underserved and the board of The Harmony Conference whose mission is to bring local organizations of different views to a common ground for the betterment of the community.
Jeremiah now pastors East Berlin United Methodist Church and South Meriden Trinity United Methodist Church in Connecticut. His lives with his beautiful wife, Melissa and four awesome children, Christopher, Jeremiah, Arealyah and Savannah.
